What an amazing response to ‘Looking Back to Look Forward – Celebrating the 1953 Student Movement’. “It’s not just the event, it’s the timing of the event that’s important,” said Hiba Ali Raza, one of the student volunteers. “At a time when things look so bleak, and people are so depressed, this was very significant”.

Well known physician and former student leader Dr Sarwar passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on May 26 in Karachi. He will be remembered for his inspirational leadership, generosity of spirit, warmth of character and clear-headed political vision.
A memorial meeting is scheduled at PMA House Karachi, on Sunday, May 31 at 6.30 pm.
